Hours & Pay
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Remote)
- Pay Rate: $28-$30 per hour
- Employment Type: Contract assignment lasting approximately 3-9 months
About the Role
This role plays a vital part in maintaining accurate billing and financial data within a complex internal system. The Billing Data Entry Specialist ensures information is entered correctly, validated thoroughly, and kept consistent across multiple system modules while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
Daily Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and verify billing and data records within a complex software system
- Navigate multiple system modules and databases to ensure correct data placement
- Review information for errors, inconsistencies, or missing details and make corrections as needed
- Follow established data entry procedures, workflows, and security protocols
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive billing and financial information
- Collaborate with team members to research and resolve data discrepancies
- Generate basic reports or summaries from entered data when required
- Meet defined accuracy, quality, and productivity deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in data entry with billing or invoicing exposure
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to learn and navigate complex software systems
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including spreadsheets and databases
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy
- Ability to follow written instructions and structured workflows precisely
- Basic problem-solving skills and independent work capability
- Reliable time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP or CRM platforms
- Familiarity with data validation and data quality standards
