What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Oversee processes to ensure that payments received are applied correctly within the accounts receivable functions
• Request remittances when none are provided to resolve unidentified funds in accounts
• Work on misapplied money requests in a timely manner, including cashier corrections
• Maintain working knowledge of electronic posting software and correct any errors
• Support the investigation and reconciliation of exception reports, resolving issues promptly

What is Required (Qualifications):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year experience in customer service, accounts receivable, cashier, or billing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, completing tasks accurately and on time

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with remittance advice review
• Familiarity with healthcare billing and accounts receivable processes
• Strong problem?solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing departmental demands
• Experience working in a fast?paced healthcare environment
